- Stormie is an Austin-based electric-guitarist and solo performance artist. The music has been described as “Jazzy-Bluesy-Rock ‘n’ Roll with a Classical-Latin twist.” She has performed to critical acclaim throughout the United States for the past twenty years. The New York Daily News says, “pretty-voiced who manages to inject Hendrix-like leads into her acoustic musings.” This unusual style interweaves soaring electric guitar and emotionally charged narrative.
- Stormie M. Graham opened herself to music at the age of four, when she began playing the piano. In secondary school she picked up the trumpet and sax. Then, realizing her strong ability and passion for music (not to mention a natural rhythm), she took up the drums as well. It was not until 1989 that the loan of an electric guitar truly revealed her muse and set Stormie writing.
- “Hello...” (transition) A One-Human Show, (performed from 1997 to present) is a musical vortex into the mind of Stormie M. Graham, one human. It will make you laugh, blink, think hard and maybe even cry. Just listen and watch – you will experience the world through a young human's mind. From video segments, to philosophical and political dialogue, to soaring guitar riffs, there is a lot of creativity on display. This is definitely a performance piece not to be missed.
